Here’s how I did it!
I changed his bait!
A problem I see many of my clients make are assuming people are on Facebook to get excited about their services. No matter how much of a perfect customer a person is, they aren’t on Facebook to buy your stuff. So you need to draw them out. I first just changed Paul’s bait to an informational guide offering his students the secrets of the industry. 2. I Used Real Photos
I grabbed this photo from one of Paul’s videos. Rather than using a stock photo, I used a photo that shows Paul genuinely working with a student and being passionate about his business. People are trained to just skip ads, but when they see someone who is passionate about their business, they stop and look, even if it is just for a second.
3. Client Applications and Call Scheduling
Once we had people clicking through, we needed to make sure they were serious so Paul didn’t spend time on unqualified leads. By adding a client application form, we weeded out those who were not incredibly interested and the ones who submitted it were ready to close. All we did then was have them schedule a call with Paul and he did
the rest without having to lift a finger on sales.
Here’s the thing though… It Can Get Better Conversion Still!
Paul coaches in a very specific niche and his ads were only at 70% of their full potential because we needed more time to grow. With more time and money put into the process, these will perform at much higher rates. The good thing is that now he has a much larger budget for advertising because advertising is positive. This is much further than most small businesses get past!
